Hanna Layton, Co-Founder and Director of Epic-Cure
Hanna Layton

Director

Hanna Layton is a sustainability professional and social entrepreneur passionate about building equitable and regenerative food systems. She co-founded Epic-Cure in 2018 and continues to serve on its board, supporting program development, partnership growth, and sustainability strategy.

Her work is guided by a simple but powerful motto: “aim to build a longer table, not a higher fence.” This belief in inclusive, systems-based change has shaped Hanna’s career in workforce development, food systems, and community-centered programming over the past eight years. She has led initiatives across the U.S. that reduce food waste, increase economic opportunity, and support historically excluded communities—including refugees, immigrants, and BIPOC entrepreneurs—with dignity, equity, and care at the center.

With a Master’s in Sustainability Solutions from Arizona State University, Hanna also founded Thrive Consultancy, an Arizona Benefit Corporation that partnered with local and federal agencies to design and deliver training programs for sustainable, values-based business models. Across her work, Hanna integrates environmental sustainability with social equity, striving to build systems that nourish both people and the planet.
