Volunteers banner: hands stacked together, with the words Helping our neighbors. Saving our planet.

Every week, 350 to 400 volunteers rescue, sort, and share the food that feeds more than 2,200 families across Northeast Florida. In 2025 they gave 42,907 hours of work, worth about $1.4 million. Many arrive as neighbors in need and stay as family. There is a place for you, too.

Our shifts are listed on CareConnect, the St. Johns County volunteer site. Create a free account, pick a shift, and CareConnect keeps a record of your hours. Questions? Email volunteer@epic-cure.org or call (904) 458-7145.

“HOW CAN WE HELP?”

Keith and Yolanda first came to Epic-Cure when the pandemic erased both their jobs. By the third week, Yolanda turned to Keith and asked how they could help. Now, every Tuesday, Keith is in cold storage sorting meat so nothing goes to waste, and Yolanda, the team's heartbeat, never arrives without warm muffins.
